Saturday, August 16, 2014, 11 members of Omaha Symphonic Winds performed for the Valley, NE Sesquicentennial. Since Valley was founded in 1864, during the Civil War, the group represented the typical band of the period and played authentic musical arrangements that included patriotic songs and quicksteps.

The sax quartet played a wide variety of selections from swing to pop, while the trombones played lots of Christmas carols.
